Registration
Registration to attend the International Journal on Homelessness Conference 2027 is now open.
Please note that travel to and from the conference, as well as hotel accommodations and any other incidental costs are the responsibility of the attendees.
In the event that unforeseen global circumstances require the conference format to change (for example, from in-person to virtual), all conference registration fees will be fully refundable. As travel and accommodation arrangements are booked independently by delegates, we strongly encourage attendees to purchase refundable or flexible tickets and accommodation wherever possible.
Upon arrival at the University of Pretoria, you must show your Eventbrite ticket to clear the main security gate.

Our value at the International Journal on Homelessness and the Institute of Global Homelessness is to make the conference as accessible as possible in an equitable way. Therefore, we have worked to keep ticket fees as low as possible, including offering the lowest rates for participants from Asia, Africa, and South America, and free attendance for people with lived experience of homelessness. However, due to this break-even model for the conference budget, the conference organisers are not able to provide financial support for participation. Travel to and from the conference, accommodation, and any other incidental costs are the responsibility of attendees.
Lived expertise is invaluable, and the participation of people with lived experience of homelessness is important to us. Due to budget limitations, we have a limited number of free registration tickets available for people with lived experience of homelessness to attend the conference. We are working to secure additional funding to support some of your travel costs. We deeply appreciate your interest in attending the conference. Please email us at ijohconf@gmail.com and/or check back for more information and updates.
